How to get the Best Results

Many athletes have already previously attempted to resolve their performance challenges, blocks and take their game to the next level prior to working with me. They may have worked with different coaches, read books, got advice for others, but have been able to get the results they want. The processes I developed and use when working with athletes, produce the best results and are also very time and cost effective.

Below are key suggestions that will ensure that you get the best value from your sessions with me when we work together.

  • Make sure that you complete the form I send you with as much detail as possible.
  • Arrive on time so we have the full allocated time for each session.
  • Be aware that the focus of each session will be on what needs to happen next and how you can make it happen
  • Come with an open mind. Sometimes what you expect in a sessions will be very different to what happens. My focus is on using all my skills to assist you in resolving your performance problem, regardless of how long you have had it.
  • Feedback honestly what you are noticing during the session. Ask whatever questions you have in mind during our session, but realize you won’t always get the answers you may anticipate or want to hear.
  • Performance coaching is most effective when conducted as a structured program of training over a sustained  period of time and will require that the athlete complete exercises and practices they have been given.
  • Make time to properly listen back to the MP3 of the sessions as directed and practice the exercises you have been given, as this is a key part of the process for rapid improvement of mental peak performance.
  • Keep in mind that change requires co-operation from both parties involved in the session to work. If you keep doing the same thing you always did, you will keep getting the same results you always got.

I can’t guarantee results and don’t think anyone can. However, I will always give you my undivided attention and do the best I can to utilize all of my skills and expertise to make sure you do get the best results.
